EC by Friday 4-15-11

After the whopping test scores from today, I've decided to offer a two day extra credit opportunity. Since we are starting the judicial branch of government tomorrow, here is your assignment: Find out the names of the Supreme Court Justices and put your paper in the bottom tray with your name on it by Friday.

Extra credit opportunity! We just finished looking at the executive branch of government and the executive departments. There are 15 executive departments that each have a person in charge. Most of them are called "secretary of..". Write or type the list (15 people total) and hand it in by Tuesday for 10 bonus points!

EC on Speech Tonight!

President Obama will be making his speech regarding our current military efforts in Libya tonight at 7:30. This is a very important speech informing the American public of the reasoning for working with allied forces in attacking the current regime.

For extra credit, write/type up a one page summary of what the President says and hand it in by Wednesday, March 30th and get 15 bonus points!

This weekend in Carlisle the Heritage Center (off of Trindle Road/turn left at the Sheetz) there will be another Washingtonburg event!

Since we are in the middle of the Bill of Rights, this is a great extension into the social and military life during this time period.

The event features an emphasis on colonial times including the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War and more!

For 20 extra credit go visit during one of the days and point type/write up a one page review of the event.
